1/2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
1/3 c. chopped onion
¼ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
chicken pieces (about 2 pounds), deboned
½ c orange juice
½ tsp. grated orange peel
1 ½ Tbl. Butter
1 ½ Tbl. Flour
2 Tbl. Brown sugar
Hot cooked noodles

In a crock pot, combine first 5 ingredients, top with chicken. Pour orange juice over chicken and sprinkle with orange peel. Cover and cook on low for 5 – 6 hours or until meat juices run clear. Remove chicken; debone and cut up meat. Set aside and keep warm. Combine butter and flour until smooth; add to slow cooker. Cook on high until thick…about 20 minutes. Stir in chicken and brown sugar. Heat through. Serve over hot noodles.
