2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sifted all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1/4 c. almond, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking powder and ginger. Mix orange juice and milk. Add alternately with dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Beat until well blended. Stir in orange rind, fold in almonds. Pour mix in loaf pan. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Put powdered sugar on top.
