2 pkgs. (10oz) fresh brussels sprouts, trimmed
6 slices bacon (cut in small pieces)
3 T. unsalted butter
2 large shallots, minced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Bring large pot of salted water to boil, add brussels sprouts. Cook until tender (8 to 10 minutes). Drain. Meanwhile, cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Discard fat from skillet. Reduce heat to medium. In same skillet melt butter; add shallots. Cook, stirring occsionally until softened, about 2 minutes. Add brussells sprouts, salt, pepper, and nutmeg; stir to coat weith butter and heat through. Put in serving bowl, sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
