Bring to boil:

1/2 c. melted oleo
1 c. water
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. vegetable oil


Mix in a large bowl:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Pour hot mixture over flour and sugar and mix until well blended. Add 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk or to make sour milk by adding 2 tsp. vinegar to milk and let stand few minutes. 1 tsp. soda, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla beat until well blended.. This mixutre will be bubbly. Bake at 400 for 20 to 30 minutes in a greased cake pan. For the frosting: Bring to boil: 1/2 c. oleo, 1/4 c. cocoa, 1 tsp. vanilla, 5 tbsp. milk. Remove from heat add 1 pound of powdered sugar, beat till smooth. Add 1 c. or pecans or walnuts.

Frosting:
1/2 c. oleo
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. milk
1 c. nuts
powdered sugar

Bring to boil the above ingredients except nuts and powdered sugar. Remove from heat add # 1 powdered sugar, beat until smooth. Add chopped nuts. Pour warm icing over warm cake and spread.
