2 cans(61/2 oz.) chopped clams
1 can whole clams
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. basil
3 tbsp. snipped parsley
2 tbsp. white wine or sherry

Directions:
Directions:
Drain minced or chopped clams and whole clams, reserving liquid. Saute onion and garlic in butter, 2-3 minutes, stirring. Add liquid from clams, tomato sauce,and basil. Cook 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add clams, wine and parsley. Simmer 3-4 minutes. Serve with linguini and top with grated parmesan cheese.
