2 CUPS CUBED TART APPLES
2 CUPS THINLY SLICED CELERY
2 CUPS HALVED SEEDLESS GRAPES (RED AND GREEN, 1 CUP EACH)
1 CUP MINIATURE MARSHMALLOWS
1/3 CUP COLD EVAPORATED MILK
1/2 TSP SUGAR
1/4 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
3 TBS MAYONNAISE OR SALAD DRESSING
3 TBS PEANUT BUTTER
1/2 CUP MIXED NUTS, OPTIONAL

In a large bowl, combine apples, celery, grapes and marshmallows. In a chilled mixing bowl, beat milk until frothy. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat in mayo and peanut butter. Pour over apple mixture. Stir until coated. Cover and refrigerate. Just before serving, stir in nuts if desired.

This is a great recipe that kids will enjoy helping with. My granddaughter, Lillie (5 yrs old), helped slice grapes and chop apples when we made it to serve for lunch at one of our Kinsella Reunion Committee meetings. She got to use a real knife! and had such fun! (Of course, Papa and Nana were there to supervise.)
