1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
2 eggs well beaten
2 large ripe bananas
2 cup flour
scant 1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup walnuts (opt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening; add beaten eggs. Mix soda in mashed bananas and add to first mixture. Blend in remaining ingredients and bake at 300 for 1 hour to 1 hour and 25 minutes depending on pan size. Can use one large or two smaller pans.
