1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. soda
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
2 T. water
1 c. raspberry jam
1/2 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Sift dry ingredients except oatmeal together. Stir into creamed mixture. Add oatmeal and 1 tablespoon water; mix till crumbly. Firmly pat one-half mixture into a greased 9x13" pan. Spread with raspberry jam. Stir remaining water into remaining crumbs. Sprinkle over filling; pat smooth. Bake in a moderate over (350 degrees) for 25 - 30 minutes. Cool; cut into 1 x 3 inch bars.
