1c. sugar
1c. (2 medium...VERY ripe) bananas
1/2c. butter or margarine
1/4c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2c. flour
1/2c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9"x5" or 8"x4" loaf pan.
In a large bowl, blend sugar, bananas, butter, milk, vanilla and eggs. Beat 1 minute at medium speed. Stir in remaining ingredients, just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into pan. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
