4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
2c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1c. broken walnuts (optional)
1c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Melt chocolate and butter over hot water in double boiler. Remove from heat. Add eggs, sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in nuts.
Mix and sift flour and salt. Add gradually to the chocolate mixture, stirring well. Pour into greased and floured 9" pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
