1 C. sugar
1/2 C. Crisco
2 eggs, beaten
2 bananas, crushed and ripe
1/2 C. buttermilk
2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
nuts-optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and Crisco, add beaten eggs. Then add crushed bananas, buttermilk alternately with dry ingredients. Bake in loaf pan 1 hour at 350 degrees.
