* 2 cups water
* 2 pounds asparagus spears
* 2 TBSP. butter
* 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
* 1/2 tsp. dried basil
* 1/4 tsp. each salt & fresh ground pepper
* 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
* 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts

Directions:
Directions:
*Heat the water to boiling in a 12" skillet & add the asparagus.*Bring back up to a boil,then reduce the heat to medium.*Cover & cook 4 to 6 minutes 'til tender/crisp,drain & set aside.*Melt the butter in that same skillet & stir in the mushrooms,cooking 2 to 3 minutes,stirring frequently,'til they're light brown.*Stir in the asparagus,basil,hazelnuts,salt & pepper & stir gently to coat & heat. through.*Transfer to a serving dish & sprinkle with the cheese.
