For 8x8 or 9x9 square pan:
4 med. apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. oats
1/2 c. butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
1. Grease baking dish. Peel, core, and slice apples. Use enough to cover the pan.
2. Mix by hand the remaining ingredients until crumbly. Cover apples.
3. Bake 350 fo 25 minutes, or until top is golden brown.

This recipe can be doubled to fit into a 13 x 9 pan. Good served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
