20 slices french bread, cut 1/4 inch thick
1/4 c butter or margarine, melted
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 lemon
1 (8 oz.) container cream cheese spread
1/4 c powdered sugar
2 1/2 c strawberries, chopped
1/3 c toasted sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 375. Place bread slices on baking stone or cookie sheet. Brush melted butter over bread slices. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over bread slices. Bake 12-14 min or until golden brown. Meanwhile, zest lemon to get 1 tsp. zest, and squeeze lemon to get 2 tsp. lemon juice. In small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice until smooth. Spread mixture over bread slices. Top with chopped strawberries. Sprinkle Bruschetta with almonds, and additional powdered sugar if desired. Serve immediately.
