1 1/2 cups raw rice
Chicken breasts
3 cups cold water
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Spread uncooked rice in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese. Salt and pepper chicken pieces and arrange over rice. Add water. Sprinkle onion soup mix on chicken. Stir cream of chicken soup until smooth and spread on chicken. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 1 hour. Remove from oven, cover pan with foil. Return to oven and bake 1/2 hour longer or until done.

This is a really easy and quick and delicious dinner. It can be done in the crock pot too and there is no need to even thaw the chicken if using frozen breasts whether in the crock pot or oven (may need to cook in oven a little longer if using frozen).
