shredded lettuce - whole head
1 red onion, sliced very thin
4-5 stalks celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 pkg frozen peas
3 oz cheddar cheese - grated
8 strips of bacon, cooked and in pieces
1 pt of Miracle Whip
3 T sugar

Directions:

Layer in 9x13 in that order -- mix last two together and spread over top -- refrigerate 24 hours.

Don't be tempted to use low fat Miracle Whip or mayo -- doesn't hold up well enough.
