1 c. butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. water
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped pecans
red/green sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and vanilla, add sugar, creaming the mixture until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, mixing well. Add pecans. Shape into 1" balls. Roll in colored sugar. Bake 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 for 20 minutes. (You can use white sugar and make for any occason).
