2 cans Unsweetened Cherries **
1 box Yellow Cake Mix
1 C. Pecans
1 C. Sugar*
2 Sticks Butter or Margarine

Directions:
Directions:
In rectangular baking dish, layer the ingredients in the following order: Cherries, sugar, cake mix (spread over fruit). Cut the oleo in pats and lay over the cake mix. Sprinkle pecans over oleo. Bake in 350 oven until top is nicely browned. About 30 minutes.
* if using sweetened fruit, omit the sugar.
** You can use any fruit you wish, instead of cherries. I sometimes use 1 can crushed pineapple and 1 can cherry pie filling
