2 1/2 cup nuts
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put nuts in shallow pan in 250 oven for about 12 minutes -- stir once midway. Cook sugar, cinnamon, salt and water to soft ball stage (236) without stirring. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts. Stir gently until well coated and starts to sugar -- spread on greased platter -- break up as they cook.
