Soak cherries for 15 minutes in :
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1/4 cup of orange juice
Place in chafing dish
Melt the chafing medium
Place in dish and cook for 5 minutes
Drain off liquid.
Add 1/3 cup of Brandy
Cover, light and baste until flame goes out.

I remember this being cooked in the dining room using the Copper pot with the sterno cup underneath. The instructions are not too specific,
as dad would say: try not to burn the house down.
