1 1/2 cups flour 6 Tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup cream 2 apples, peeled and sliced Topping: 1 Tbsp. melted butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Sift dry ingredients. Add cream to egg and stir into dry ingredients. Turn into greased pan. Cover with sliced apples. (I prefer more apples.) Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400º F. for 35 minutes.
