1 3/4 C flour 1/2 C sugar 1/2 C brown sugar 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 C shortening 1/2 C peanut butter 1 egg 2 Tbs. milk 1/2 tsp vanilla.
Mix and roll into balls. Roll balls in white sugar. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Top with chocolate stars (or Hershey Kisses) and put back into the oven just long enough for the stars to start melting.
