1/4 lb. butter (or 1 stick of marg.)
1 cup sugar14 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can (16 oz.) chocolate syrup
1 can-plus 1 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup chopped nutmeats (op.)

6 tbsps. Butter
6 tbsps milk
1 1/2 cups Sugar

Method: Cream shortening & sugar. Beat in 1 egg at a time, beating well after each egg; add vanilla & chocolate syrup & Mix well. Add flour, baking powder & nuts. Put in well-greased & floured cookie sheet Pan 15x11 inch. Bake in a 350 Oven for 30 min. (Do not over bake).
Frosting: Mix well & bring to a rolling boil For 30 seconds. Remove from heat & add 1/2 Cup choc. Chips. Stir until all chips are melted & frost bars (which are cold). Do Not overbeat this frosting or it will lose Its gloss.
