3 - 4 tbsp. olive oil
4 tbsp. onions, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 28oz. can whole tomatoes
1 28oz. can crushed tomatoes
1/4 to 1/2 cup water
1 tbsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. salt

Directions:

Heat low to medium.
Cover bottom of saucepan with olive oil.
Add onions and garlic. Saute.
Add whole tomatoes, squeeze through hands breaking tomatoes into small pieces.
Add crushed tomatoes. Add water.
Add seasonings.
Cook on medium-low for 1 hour

Mom's pizza sauce is excellent! This is so easy to make that you can't use that canned stuff anymore, not that I ever used canned. That would be a sin!
