1/2 c. water 1 lb. powdered sugar (about 4 cups) 5 T. meringue powder, or 2 large egg whites.
Combine sugar and egg whites (or meringue powder). Mix on low and slowly add 1/2 c. water. (You may not need the entire 1/2 c.) Mix until icing holds a ribbonlike trail on the surface for 5 seconds when you raise the beaters.
