1 c. flour
1 c. water
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 T. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in large sauce pan and cook over medium to low heat. Cook and stir until thick and all moisture is absorbed. Cool. Knead.

Personal Notes:
If you want to color your play dough, add food coloring to the water before adding water to your mixture. This way the color will be even throughout the dough. Adding food coloring to the dough after it is done does not work very well at all.
