1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
5 tablespoons shortening
1 cup milk
1 egg
5 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups flour

Filling Ingredients
1 1/2 cups shortening
2 cups marshmallow crème
3 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large bowl, add sugar, soda, shortening, milk, egg, cocoa and flour; mix well. Drop teaspoons of batter on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 4 to 5 minutes. Cool on wire rack before filling.

Filling Directions:
Beat all ingredients together until smooth. Spread filling between two cookies putting flat sides together.
