4 c. plain flour
1T. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the dry ingredients. Add shortening. Mix together with a fork until mixture is fine as cornmeal. Stir together the following, then add to the above ingredients.
1 egg
1T. vinegar
1/2 c. water.
Shape into balls, 4 to 6 depending upon size of pie pan and chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Roll out on a floured wax paper. Line pie pan with pastry and use to make your favorite baked pie. This pastry will freeze. Shape into balls, flatten and wrap each ball in clear freeze wrap, and place in freezer bag. When using, thaw and roll into the flakiest pie crust ever.
