4 potatoes quartered
2 carrots - 3 inch chunks
2 stalks celery
4-5 lb roast (beef or buffalo)
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp basil
3-4 oz. bourbon
1/4 C water

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in closed container and cook slowly. 12 hours at 200F or 5.5 hours at 300F.
