* 1 TSBP. butter
* 3/4 cup chopped onion
* 2 chopped shallots
* 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh garlic
* 1/4 cup each teriyaki & soy sauces
* 1/3 cup firm pack brown sugar
* 1/4 cup molasses
* 1/4 cup honey
* 1 1/3 cups ketchup
* 1 {12 ounce} jar apricot preserves
* 3 pounds chicken wings

*Heat the oven to 400.*In a large sauce pan melt the butter & saute the onion,shallot & garlic 'til soft.*Stir in the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT the preserves & chicken & cook to a boil for 5 minutes,stir constantly.*Remove from the heat & cool 20 minutes,stirring occasionally to release the heat.*In the meantime,lightly spray a large cookie sheet & place the chicken on it.*Bake for 20 minutes,turning once.*Transfer the chicken to a 9x13 glass baking dish.*Combine the preserves to the cooled sauce & pour over the chicken,stir so it gets coated evenly.*Cover with foil & bake for 30 to 40 more minutes,basting & turning as needed,until the sauce has thickened & the chicken is tender.
