2 cups sugar, 1 cup butter, 8 eggs, 3 cups flour, (sifted), 2 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp cloves, 1 box raisins, 1 box coconut, (shredded), 1 cup chopped nuts, 1 cup milk

Directions:
Cream sugar and butter well, add eggs-2 at a time. Mix dry ingredients together,and add nuts and raisins to dry ingredients for coating. Add alternately with the milk and coconut to the creamed sugar. Grease and flour (3) 9-inch pans. Pour cake batter evenly into pans and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Test at 30 min, 35 min, 40 min and 45 minutes till done. Let cool.
Filling: 2 cups boiling water, 2 cups sugar, 1 cup coconut, juice of 2 lemons and juice of 2 oranges, a little flour to make thick.
On a cake plate, place the 1st layer cake and spread on some filling, place the 2nd layer and put in 4 toothpicks to hold and add filling and then add 3rd layer and 4 toothpicks to hold and add filling. Sprinkle colored sprinkles on top for decoration.
