1 qt okra cut up
1 medium onion chopped
1 small bell pepper chopped
1 can chopped tomatoes (or use 2-4 fresh ones)
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 T oil
1 tsp salt
pinch of black pepper
1 lb cleaned shrimp
1 qt water (or chicken broth)

Directions:
Directions:
Smother okra with onion, bellpepper, tomatoes, and cooking oil.
Add salt, pepper, shrimp and water/broth. Cook on low heat for
45 minutes. Adjust seasoning to individual taste.

Don't use iron pot for cooking okra. it will cause okra to turn
