1 - bunch of asparagus
2 - T. extra-virgin olive oil(EVOO)
1/2 - tsp. kosher salt or seasoned salt
2 - pinches of freshly gound pepper to taste
1 - C. grated or shaved parmesan cheese(optional).

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 F. or grill temperature to high. Trim the woody ends, about 2 inches. Peel any remaining stalks if desired. Spread the spears in a single layer on a baking sheet for oven or on a veggie grilling basket for grill. Drizzle with EVOO, sprinkle with the salt or seasoned salt and pepper. Coat thoroughly.
Roast until lightly browned and tender, about 6-10 minutes depending on your grill/oven.
Take up and sprinkle with parmesan cheese, serve warm or at room temperature.
