* 8 ounces fresh pea pods
* 2 tsp. brown sugar
* 3/4 tsp. cornstarch
* dash of salt
* 1/4 cup orange juice
* 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
* 2 tsp. butter
* 1/2 cup toasted,sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
*Cook the pea pods in a small amount of water over medium heat 'til tender/crisp.*Combine the sugar,cornstarch & salt in a separate medium saucepan,add the juice & whisk 'til smooth.*Add the peel.*Cook 'til slightly thickened,then add the butter & continue to whisk ,over low heat,'til it's all blended.*Drizzle over pea pods & garnish with the almonds.
