2 cups flour ( no more )
4 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp.salt
1/3 to 1/2 cup shortening
1cup plus 2 tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven to 450 F. Blend flour baking powder and salt together
cut in shortening or just crumble in with hands untill mixed well
add milk and stir to make drop batter
drop from spoon onto greased baking sheet for about 13 minutes .will be golden in color

These biscuits are such a nice touch to a bowl of homemade soup or stew on a rainy day or any winter day .I have used them with a beef roast in stead of yorkshire pudding .
