2 cups flour 2 cups brown sugar 1/2 cup oleo 1 cup nuts
2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp vanilla 1 egg 2 cups apples
Mix flour, brown sugar, oleo and nuts -- put 2 and 3/4 cups into 9x13 pan...add cinnamon, soda, salt, sour cream, vanilla, egg, apples to remaining mixture in the bowl. Bake at 350º for at least 35 minutes.
This is a very moist cake -- do not cover too tightly and be sure to bake it long enough
