2 LG onions 1/4 c butter 1 boneless bottom round roast, 3-4 lbs. 5 c water 1/2 c soy sauce 1 envelope onion soup mix 1 1/2 tsp browning sauce 1 garlic clove 12-14 french rolls 1 c swiss cheese
Sauté onions in butter, put in slow cooker, cut roast in 1/2 and set over onions. Combine water, soy ,soup mix, browning sauce, and garlic. Pour over roast. Cook on low 7-9 hours.. Remove roast and let stand 15 minutes. Slice thin. Place on rolls and sprinkle with cheese. Broil 3-4 minutes. Strain juice to dip with.
