1 - 8 oz. pkg cream cheese softened
1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
1 Cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda

Mix cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until well blended. Add flour and baking soda, mix well. Press dough firmly onto bottom of ungreased 15x10 inch baking pan. Preheat oven to 350. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Meanwhile, combine the following until well blended:
2 Eggs
1 Cup packed brown sugar
2/3 Cup light corn syrup
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Stir in 3 cups chopped pecans. Spread evenly over warm crust. Bake an additional 20-25 minutes or until topping is firm around the edges and slightly soft in center. Cool completely and cut into bars.
