3/4 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c.brown sugar, packed
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c. creamy or crunchy peanut butter (DO NOT USE REDUCED FAT PEANUT BUTTER)
1 t. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 t. soda
1/2 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Blend in egg, peanut butter and vanilla. Add flour, sifted with soda and salt. Stir well. Form into balls. Roll in sugar and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
