Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9" pie shell
3 eggs
1/8 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/4 c. white corn syrup
2/3 c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly with a fork; add salt, vanilla, sugar, corn syrup, beating just until well blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into pie shell and bake 45-55 minutes at 375 degrees. Cover the edges of the pie if necessary to not get to dark. I have also put a loose sheet of foil over the whole pie so it doesn't get to dark, until it tests done. Serve with ice cream.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is one of my favorite pies.
I like to serve this pie by zapping it in the microwave just until the chocolate chips are soft.
This pie freezes very well. Unwrap and thaw at room temperature.
