2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 egg
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tbsp grated orange peel
1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles course crumbs. Beat egg, orange juice and peel; stir in the dry ingredients just until blended. Add the cranberries and the walnuts. Spoon into greased and floured 8x4x2 inch loaf pan.Bake at 350 for 65--70 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 min before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
