* 2 pounds small red potatoes/cut into 1" pieces
* 1 pound fresh green beans/cleaned/broken in 1/2
* 1/3 cup butter
* 2 large sweet onions/halved & sliced
* 1/4 cup balsamic or cider vinegar
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
*Heat 1" of water to boiling in Dutch oven type pan.*Add the potatoes,green beans & salt & heat to boiling,then reduce the heat to medium.*Cover & cook about 10 minutes,'til tender,drain & set aside.
*While cooking that,melt the butter in a large heavy skillet,cook the onions 'til golden,then stir in the vinegar,brown sugar & salt.*Pour the onion mixture over the vegies & toss gently.
