2 T. yeast
6 cups warm water
2 cups white flour
2 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup molasses
3/4 cup dry milk
3/4 cup shortening
2 cups grated apple
13 cups whole wheat flour
2 T. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Combine rest of water, oatmeal, molasses and dry milk. Add half of the white flour and half the whole wheat. Add yeast, rest of flour, apple, shortening and salt. Mix well. Knead until smooth. Rise until double. Divide into loaves. Rise again. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
