⅓ cup shortening
teaspoon salt
⅔ cup sugar
1 cup nuts, chopped
2 eggs
1 cup bananas, mashed
1 cup flour
1 cup mixed candied fruits
2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and gradually add sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients. Add bananas and blend. Add fruit and nuts. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes or until done.
