2 cups flour
1 cup whole bran cereal
cup sugar
cup nuts
1 teaspoons salt
1 can crushed drained pineapple (13 ounces)
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg, beaten
teaspoon baking soda
3 tablespoons shortening, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients together. Stir in cereal and nuts. Combine remaining ingredients. Mix just enough to dampen flour. Spoon into 9" x 5" greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.
