* 1 large onion,sliced thin
* 2 TBSP. olive oil
* 2 TBSP. minced parsley
* 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
* 1/2 tsp. course salt,divided
* 1 tube dairy pizza dough
*1 beaten egg

Directions:
Directions:
*Over medium heat,in your favorite heavy skillet, cook the onions in the oil 'til soft.
*Stir in the pepper ,1/2 the salt & the parsley.
*Heat oven to 375
*Roll out the dough onto a floured surface into a rectangle about 15"x20".
*Spread onions over 1/2 the dough,leaving a 1" border.Fold over lenghthwise,press to seal & brush with egg.
*Cut crosswise into 12 strips {a large pizza cutter works well }
*Twist each strip & place onto a sprayed cookie sheet.
*Brush with the rest of the egg,sprinkle the rest of the salt & bake about 20 minutes 'til golden brown.

When assembling these,lay the dough out on a large cutting board , then proceed. This makes the cutting & twisting easier.
