Ingredients:  
1 qt. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. regular rice
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put rice, milk, and salt in double boiler. Cook one hour. Pour mixture into a greased casserole. Add sugar. Beat eggs and vanilla. Add egg mixture to rice mixture slowly. Put casserole in pan of hot water. Bake 350 F for 1/2 hour. Test with silver knife. (It may need a little longer in the oven.)
