1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg (40 pieces) caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
1 c. chopped pecans
6 oz. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix as direct on box. Pour 3/4 of the mix into greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt caramel, milk and butter together. Pour over baked cake and top with remaining batter, then the nuts and chocolate chips. Bake for 20 additional minutes. Yield 24 pieces.
