1 - 1lb. bag of frozen hash brown potatoes
1 small onion diced
1 - 2 lb bag shredded cheddar cheese
1 - 16 oz. tub of sour cream
1-1/2 sticks of margarine
1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp of black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Use a 9 x 11 baking pan. Place potatoes in pan with onions, margarine and sour cream. Place in oven for about 15 minutes or until mixture is softened. Stir in soup and cheese. Place back in oven and cook for 30-40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes to cool down before eating. The is great with any meal.
