2 cups flour

tsp. baking soda

tsp. salt

1 cups brown sugar (firmly packed )

1 cups white sugar

1 cup butter or margarine

3 large eggs

1 cup creamy peanut butter

2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl blend sugars using an electric mixer. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste, scraping the sides of bowl. Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix until light and fluffy. Add flour, soda, and salt. Mix at low speed until just mixed. Do not overmix. Drop by rounded tbs. onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 2 inches apart. With a wet fork gently press a crisscross pattern on top of cookies. Bake for 18-22 minutes until cookies or slightly brown along edges, in 300 degree oven. Transfer cookies immediately to cook surface with a spatula. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
